We as the department have a definite vision, just as the students are now prepared to explore the huge ocean that always beckons them and has a rainbow to be colored. The first year of engineering is crucial in preparing students to become future engineers. The department develops and shapes the students to enter the quickly evolving, practical world while preserving their sensitivity. The staff's teaching-learning approach increases students' capacity for critical thought and improves their ability to analyze. Since the majority of the students originate from diverse social backgrounds, the department needs to provide them with mentors who can help them express themselves, discuss their expectations, and feel at ease while they are away from home. Our department's highly skilled and knowledgeable employees are constantly alert. Students hold the faculty in high regard and they have stellar academic records. Although they are common to all disciplines, the different subjects taught to first-year students generally provide a solid basis for future engineering success. Activities that broaden their horizons and prevent academic boredom include expert lectures, site visits, technical events, sports and cultural events, soft skills, etc. To conclude, the department catalyzes and assures a very healthy, amicable but a competitive ambience for our future engineer.
